Emacs has the Evil plugin... I love Vim, but I really wanted to use org-mode without having to experience Emacs, and I've never looked back. You ought to check it out. You too aloysius! Spacemacs (https://github.com/syl20bnr/spacemacs) is a good place to start. Org-mode with evil keybindings: https://github.com/edwtjo/evil-org-mode (edit: actually this evil-org-mode plugin redefined a lot of fundamental vi keybindings... that's really really not okay...).
