This was one of my professors when I went to school. Great teacher -- he would teach four or five sections of an Intro to American Government and then a 400 level class, either "the Executive Branch" or "Congress," alternating semesters. He was chair of the Poli Sci department as well. I don't want to call him partisan, because he was critical of both parties, but I remember him taking apart Republican obstructionism in the House more than a few times, great professor nonetheless. He wrote/writes for the Baltimore Sun and would sometimes bring in his favorite hate mail. Reminds me of an Onion article: Area Man Passionate Defender Of What He Imagines Constitution To Be
