Hey, I'm new here, so obviously I don't quite follow all that, but I can see the upset. Don't worry, I'm not going to go all Oprah on you, but I get the anger. I'm pretty conservative and strongly disagree with PBO - hopefully in a more or less polite way. But I'm staggered by the number of people who dismiss me as a racist. I'm guessing you got the same thing.
On another note, my son (16) recently gave me an essay of Corey Doctorow's to read on copyright. I'll find a copy online and post it up - if you haven't seen it then it will probably resonate. -XC
