That might just be the good news the environment has been waiting for. A plan of infinite growth is not sustainable in a planet with finite resources. At some point the two curves will clash and we've been witnessing the ever aggravating signs of this over the past half century with deforestation, climate change, crazy amounts of ocean pollution (mainly plastic), ozone layer degradation, arable land depletion and the list goes on. It blows my mind how economists and politicians can't see (or rather admit) this elementary logic.Politicians and business leaders everywhere are now calling for new growth initiatives, but the governments' arsenals are empty.
