Yes, it is. I laid it out for you - a child dashing into the path of an autonomous car from a hidden spot. Simple.

I have no idea how you got "speed up" when presented with a tunnel, or any of that other rubbish about overdriving your brakes, from what I said.

I'm not particularly fussed, because although these scenarios are unsolvable, they are compensated for by the innumerable driver-error accidents that driverless cars are not prone to. But it is still a fact that these systems will need to make these kinds of decisions, or else be unaware that there was a choice to be made.
