I was under the impression that the freelance commitments might have been considered to be part of 'full time job'. Makes sense, though, especially if there are contracts and deadlines involved.

Those I'd remove by attrition: finish them and don't take on any new ones.

If these are contracts, is there no way that some of them can be renegotiated? Obviously, of course, these need to be done honestly, but I don't think a reasonable person would have a time adjusting a deadline by a week if you are truly down to the wire and if you have a spouse or dependents who need attending to or illness.

Regarding distractions: I am a new Reddit-quitter myself (the last straw was some microcephalic who called themselves a socialist despite being a flagrant racist and sexist and who told me they believed me to be a bad person for getting an education. I can't fucking believe people who believe this crap exist. I'm pretty sure actual socialist organizations have tenets of not being racist or sexist pricks and encourage greater access to university education). I haven't watched TV in years. I don't have a Facebook profile or a Twitter account. All my communication takes place by email. I am super-productive, and am actually at least a week ahead on all my schoolwork.
