I don't get the two income trap. It's hard to say that increasing your total income by having two people work some how instantly drives up inflation and makes everything cost more. I don't buy it. I think there are other factors here that made prices go up and wages stay flat while this happened. We had increased globalization and we had lots of automation. Labor became less valuable and two family incomes became a necessity for most. I've said this before but the economy is NOT a ZERO SUM GAME!
