In all seriousness, with 3,115,754 readers and 36 moderators (~87,500 potential posters per), I imagine it gets harder to filter through, say, by klienbl00's reddit comment from a few years ago, (s/he being a moderator), "the pile of stuff." Trying to make sure /r/politics isn't a clearance bin fed by clearance bins, so to speak, is not dishonorable censorship, rather a method of staying relevant.

With that many readers, however infrequent they may be, the subreddit has remarkable influence. If anyone has a problem with moderators banning a few domains, it's time for them to dig deeper into the myriad subs that the platform has to offer.
