Two of my roommates and I got together and decided to something stupid - start a cd/tape/digital based record label! Fortunately we know a lot of great musicians, have access to recording studios, and are connected with various other labels, radio stations, and music promoters. We've been working on this for a couple of months now, and decided to celebrate the 4th in style this year.

Congrats on the launch! I love the sample songs on the site. "Mean Girls" is good, but I especially liked "Go". The 8-bit synth sounds are brilliantly discordant and oddly catchy. Was it really made on a Game Boy? If the rest of the album is like this then I'm definitely buying it when it comes out.
Thanks, and I'm glad you've enjoyed the two songs. It was actually made using two of the original model Game Boys, along with a program called lsdj which utilizes the software and hardware of the game boy to it's fullest extent. The rest of his music is here, and yes, the rest of his EP sounds similar that single.
