I would be remiss if I did not comment on the expression captured in Graham McGeorge's Bonobo Portrait. I am easily captivated by the human-like similarities in their features.
Many of the photos are breath taking. Simply put, photography both captures art as well as creates it.

I neglected to see that photo was taken in my own backyard!
The great white photograph prompted several discussions on G+ regarding the scale and size relative to known biological data. Somehow the artist was able to capture the shark in the foreground with the same clarity as the divers in the background, creating the illusion that the shark was mammoth in size. Having said that, the line "you're gonna need a bigger boat" comes to mind.
