Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti! I love that band. Before Today is one of my favourite albums, it's just so ridiculously catchy. Beverly Kills makes me want to learn bass guitar.

I found Youth Lagoon on /r/futurepopmusic. Fantastic dreamy psychedelic pop music. A good one to zone out to.

As a little PSA, /r/futurebeats is a great subreddit for finding new music. I've been getting more into that scene over the past few months, we're talking any vaguely far-out electronic dance music with a definite bias towards Boards of Canada and Flying Lotus.

I'm scared to check out the rest of his catalog, but those two albums are great. They're perfectly funky and catchy. Round and Round also has some Top Gun references thrown in, if you've seen that movie.

Youth Lagoon is a great band, with two really, really good albums. Not sure which one I prefer.

NEW BOARDS OF CANADA MAYBE SOMETIME SOON EXCITED AH! Flying Lotus is good too.

Yeah, AFAIK pre Haunted Graffiti Ariel Pink was just some weirdo recording shit in his bedroom (which apparently lent the music much of its appeal).

Creepily similar tastes. I've listened to Music Has A Right To Children and the Campfire Headphase and not much else from BoC. I feel that now is about the right time to check the rest of their catalogue out. Thundercat (prod by FlyLo) is releasing his next album so that should be good (bass guitar-heavy jazz fusion).

I'm gonna listen to the other Youth Lagoon album now. So much music, so little time...
