Protools, Mbox, Audio Technica condensor mic and an SM-58. Pretty straight forward. I have guitars/drums/percussion instruments etc. But it's nothing too fancy, literally just a furnace room with a work-bench.

Funny, I can't stand the sound I get out of my M-audio interface. Your stuff sounds much cleaner/more present than mine. Afraid that says something about my recording technique. Or maybe the space I use.

It's all in the mic and the mic placement. But most people feel like the other guys sound is cleaner. My friend records with Garage Band and I feel like his stuff sounds WAY cleaner than mine. He's also just a more detail oriented musician. -That helps.
