    This is going to force people to be nice just for the sake of getting high social credit scores even even though deep down they already want to punch that person in the face. Either that, or you suffer consequence.

But really, isn’t this how adults are expected to act in civilized society anyways ?

Yes, but do we really need this social credit system to force us to be "nice"? What this will do is suppress rage and anger, and suppressed rage and anger can lead to hate crime or something. The nation's situation is already bad as it is, are we really willing to risk that for this technology?

I don’t necessarily believe in this system, I just thought it was interesting how what you said can be applied to how humans behave without technology as well. In the actual world it causes problems too when people are ostracized for not following the group or living as they’re told they should. I just think it’s interesting that society is basically on this rotation of the same BS just with different technology.
