I mean there’s also the small detail that buying anything at Toys’R’Us would cost you significantly more than a store that could literally be down the road from it. People are willing to spend more on things handmade locally or that are unique. This dumb store just pedals the same stuff and expects you to pay more because reasons. It boggles my mind how much corporatations seem to have their heads up their own asses. If they want to charge more than Wal-Mart or Amazon than they have to offer better service in some way. This is just so basic. They always start out understanding that but as they make cuts year after year they eventually cut the important stuff and then somehow still expect that people won’t notice they can just go to Walmart for basically the exact same shopping experience minus the high price.
