Side note, isn't it pretty annoying/predictable how many ads have been popping up on Facebook since it went public. I get these ads that are saying that my friends like Samsung Mobile or Target and I find it hard to believe that they are actually clicking like on those pages. Romney had a similarly pretty clearly sponsored ad if your not an idiot come through my feed too. I think they are getting close to doing what will ultimately doom them. Alienating their users by putting up too much paid content. Let's just face it, Facebook is not a 75 billion dollar company.
On a side note, every time I go to FB the same ad is there waiting for me. It's for a Neil deGrasse Tyson lecture series: Every single time and just now is the first time I've ever clicked on it. I feel dirty.Let's just face it, Facebook is not a 75 billion dollar company.
No, it's really not. I wonder what will happen to all of the businesses that have hitched their wagons to FB. I often go to startup events to meet other entrepreneurs etc and it amazes me how much of that ecosystem are creating products that couldn't exist or would at least be fundamentally different if Facebook wasn't around. -So strange.
