If you are having trouble getting to sleep I recommend trying body scan meditation, there are audio tracks online that can guide you. I never make it to the end without falling asleep.

These are my go-to's when I REALLY need to get to sleep. I can go through then without guided meditations, relaxing my body to the point I forget I have muscles. Great stuff, so damn simple too. In the end, even if I don't fall asleep my body itself is well rested.

Thanks. I'm not up for new practices lately, but if I take it up, I'll let you know how it works out for me.
