I agree, the things we take for granted are often far more complex than we realize. What's ingenious to me is the "sound" it makes. The sound is pure marketing. I guarantee that if you open a can in a room full of people several others will be opting for a Coke moments after. -Pavlovian.

I used to wait tables in a restaurant that transitioned to having us shake our martini's/cocktails table side. After they implemented this they saw a dramatic increase in the amount of cocktail sales. When people heard the sound of the ice in the shakers, it resulted in an increased desire for a drink. Btw, I liked the video and after watching it, I immediately want a coke. -seriously though, great innovation. I imagine the amount of pollution/injury is substantially lowered by it.
