UPDATE: I made a few small changes to the layout. In addition, the hubfeed (or all posts) can be sorted by new or trending.
There are a couple of other small tweaks that I will make in the coming days.

The washed-out main color (which I like a lot) sets the overall tone, imho. So anything close to primary will just jump out. Right now it is still a bit too prominent on main page. (That said, somehow the orange works and green for user id is also working since it is very thin and getting 'washed' at the edges with white.)
Thank you for kuler. I'll definitely be playing with that. I think my Lenovo looks a bit different than most. :) I'll have to look at my wife's Macbook for the final check.
35, 145, 97 is nice. Maybe just a tad too blue for me, but it'll be in that neighborhood.
