I'm glad other people are interested in this. I have often thought of situations or things that I would like to know a word for, but none might exist. I like your submission. I would like to know that word and a word for the different shades of that. For example, losing one's train of thought and then experiencing the feeling of near-realization only to lose it again. Or to catch up to one's lost train of thought, but then forgetting the reason for getting on that topic in the first place. Memory and forgetting things is something I find myself writing about a lot.
