I love this idea. Very creative. One of my favorite sounds is that of an old school typewriter. My parents had one and I loved using it. I can remember having our first computer and it was almost entirely used as a word processor... it didn't sound nearly as cool. Still doesn't.

btw, there's got to be a good program for making your computer sound like an old typewriter but it could never mimic the feel. It's like the difference between playing a piano and a synth with no weighted keys.
