Lovely. Could you maybe mention in the OP that we have an IRC channel? Server is mountai.net, channel is #hubski. It's not terribly active but if you idle every once in a while we talk about something. The more the merrier presumably.

If anyone doesn't have a clue what IRC just shout at me.

EDIT: I also feel like the search function and its potential to avoid a lot of reposts of the same articles should be mentioned somewhere. Reposts aren't always a bad thing because discussions can be had in different ways, but they shouldn't come through laziness.

Here's a link to a KiwiIRC powered web client which is already set with settings for our IRC channel!

https://kiwiirc.com/client/mountai.net/hubski?nick=kiwi_

For those who'd like to try out a full fledged software client, here are some great open-source and cross platform options!

* Smuxi

* Quassel IRC

* XChat

Note: The pre-compiled windows builds available from the XChat site aren't free, and require a registration fee of $19.99 USD after 30 days, but the source is freely available and many forks are out there. Some examples are...

* X-Chat SE

* HexChat

* X-Chat 2

Of course, there are many other options available, including closed source freeware/shareware/paid options. Take a look at this wikipedia article for a pretty thorough listing.

Hexchat is the thing to use, in my opinion. Stuck on CZ right now and it's pretty fucking bad.

edit: okay, now you're pushing it pal.
