Location: Toronto, Canada

From my window, the tap of rain on the rooftops and decks, the rustle of wind in the trees, and the clamour of sirens. The fall has come in rainy so far. We know winter is coming, but hope for some warm days before burrowing in.

Going up to 23 C or about 75F, Rain all day with a risk of thundershowers: a steady cloud dump - reminds me of Vancouver.

What's your weather, hubski? Take me to your window/door? Let's cross the globe: shoutouts to Cumol who might be in the Middle East somewhere; the newbie nimbus in Australia; veen in Calgary; humanodon in Boston; theadvancedapes in Brussels (?); briandmyers in NZ; insomniasexx in LA, maybe; flagamuffin in Austin; forwardslash in the Lower Mainland and all the rest of you on the east coast, Detroit, NC, elizabeth who is either in Europe or Montreal; wasoxygen; nowaypablo, galen, OftenBen, and the alpha/omega/ever-hovering eightbitsamurai in Boulder.

Location, location, location.

As I was writing, a sudden stream of sunlight slithered through the clouds as the rain continues to fall and fall.

It was a beautiful weekend here in Chapel Hill North Carolina. My daughter and I went for a nature walk behind our house and she started collecting fallen leaves that she thought were pretty. Here is one from what I think is an Aspen.

We stuck them to paper and then colored all around them. The temperature has been perfect, in the low-mid 80s. Some of the leaves are starting to change color but I think we've got a good bit of summer-esque weather left. Though fall is my faborite season and October my favorite month.

I'm off to play tennis at 8:30 with ipreferpi and I think the weather should be perfect.

NC weather sure beats my native MI.
