Derek Jeter is not only a class-act baseball player, but human being. I will never forget the time spent at Yankee Stadium as a kid into my teen years watching him play. Another piece of my childhood fading away. I don't know if anyone will read this, but I actually have this book, Derek Jeter: The Life You Imagine that I got at a book fair in elementary school. It's a great, inspirational book if you're looking for something like that.
