My favorite character is probably the one I'm playing right now in the pathfinder group my friends run.

Meet Krogdor, a goblin barbarian focused on grappling, mauling, and setting things on fire. Those are the notes on him I typed up for my GM. Some of the context for him is omitted because I didn't really imagine I'd be sharing this, but it's probably enough to get the gist of him.

In the setting, golbins are a short lived race. He's 7, but would be considered an adult.

I laughed at that torture scene! Hopefully he remembers not to grapple the things he set on fire.

Hopefully he remembers not to grapple the things he set on fire.

That's actually the plan.

So, uh, game mechanics talk: his combat/grappling abilities are built around a bite attack, which is classified as a natural weapon. He also owns a "Flaming Amulet of Mighty Fists" which affects unarmed strikes or natural weapons. In short, each of his bites (which he uses to grapple) does 1d6 of magical fire damage. If I manage to roll the dice correctly, he can get off 4 bites a round.

He was also saving up to buy a "Shirt of Immolation", which deals 1d6+10 fire damage (conveniently not to the wearer) per round when used while grappling. I just checked his character sheet, and he has enough money to get it now.

So all told, he'll be able to do up to 5d6+10 fire damage per round. On top of whatever his normal damage rolls get. Not bad for level 7.

We're six or seven play sessions into Krogdor joining the party, but they have no idea he can do this. All they know so far is he has lots of firecrackers and a habit of arson. All the combat has been with fire demons, so I haven't actually gotten to use this aspect of him.

The DM has seen the character sheet, but I don't think he's put it together yet. It's going to be fun revealing this.
