I'm reading "Enabling All-Access Mobility for Planetary Exploration Vehicles via Transformative Reconfiguration". If I understand it correctly, it's about building shape-shifting robots for the purpose of "exploration" (the plasma cannon is just for show, really!). Very interesting, thanks for bringing this to our attention!
