The lyrics that come to mind instantly for me are all written by David Bazan. He was/is a few bands: Pedro the Lion, Headphones, and now just tours as David Bazan. He has a handful of excellent albums, each with fantastic lyrics often about drinking, marriage and family, and corporate culture. If you don't know him, I'd try Control first. So he takes another drink
