John C. Tibbetts interviews Jim Henson about Labyrinth in 1986.

For people to believe a film you have to come very close to real life. We work with a kind of performance that is as life like as possible. We build these characters with incredible detail so that you can take close ups of them and they seem believable"
-YES! This is what Lucas once knew but somehow was able to forget. Jim Henson was a gift to the world, no doubt about it. I watched Labyrinth many, many times growing up. It was my first exposure to Bowie. I'm now a big fan of all things Bowie.... and all things Henson.
