How anybody could feel empathy for the people who raped and assaulted that girl is beyond me. "Oh no, but their promising athletic careers!" is something that I've seen come up in these articles. Get over it, they're high school athletes who clearly are not fit for society at this moment in time, and felt that their actions have no consequences. At the same time, I'm sure the parents are at fault for raising them that way. This entire situation is sad and despicable.
