This is rapidly accelerating the self-isolationism already established by the internet writ large. Maybe it's only a small minority of folks willing to treat LLMs as human? Too early for stats, probably. And a part of me hopes that this shit ruins the entire internet. It took Facebook and Twitter years to hit 100 million users. ChatGPT did it in two months.
