Nauru is also famous as an easy mill to get your commemorative stamp or coin issued. Back in the bad old days of the internet, when you couldn't get a .com address you could always get a .nu, .nr or .cx. They were generally an indicator of low-rent, trashy content in an era before myspace. I always thought .nu was Nauru but that was .nr; .nu is Niue and apparently Niue is gorgeous.
