When I was a kid, I was fascinated with this wood engraving that sat on a shelf by our piano. It was just a hill, but it also suggested a woman's winking, weirdly cadaverous face.

A couple years ago, I got big into digging through pics of old B&W prints online while looking for a prototype for a good basic tattoo (never found an acceptable one, still looking). Stumbled on the print that was in our house. Turns out my parents were just sitting on a very hard to find Paul Landacre print. Numbered in pencil, something out of thirty. My mom said that an old friend of hers was sifting through his dad's art collection and let her pick out a piece. She chose it because it just kind of jumped out at her. They still have it hanging in a bedroom in their house. I'm a little bit horrified that they're treating it so blithely.

So I guess it's not in MY possession per se? But I got pretty excited about it.
