I just followed the #hubskibookclub and will keep an eye out for any discussion or suggestion to jump in on. And I'm always done to talk swamp thing! I'm actually reading Hellblazer now which is a spin off of Swamp Thing starring the one and only John Constantine. It's written by a different writer, but it's still excellent. The first trade paper back is 20 bucks and quite large, and I can't suggest it enough.
That's really cool, and Ill keep an eye for it.
I've never heard of some of these stories, and and love that most of them are digital.
Ill def look into Blankets.
I loved Red Son, Mark Miller is an excellent writer and also did one of my favorite graphic novels Old Man Logan. also Ive always wanted to check out Daredevil and now I'm sold, and Ill keep an eye out for Guardian Devil. Ive read Kevin's Cacophony and really liked it. Thank you for all the suggestions!
I really liked the quote from the guy who lost 2 dozen friends in School(could you Imagine) "He needs to talk with someone--talking will be like letting poison from a wound--but he has to decide when and to whom on his own terms"
Sometimes just talking your problems out to a person to just for the sake of saying it can help you understand your problem, and that's more beneficial than advice. The son is obviously reaching out when he did the Facebook post, and just wants someone to know hes hurting. I think the best way to handle this situation based on what I read is that the Dad could be more assertive in saying he's a positive, reliable presence for his son. In doing this he will eventually open up to the father and vocalize his pain, and be a path to understanding how to handle the situation.
I'm sure that was great experience! That advice is real solid, and I appreciate it.
Sorry for responding so late, but I was either thinking of getting my Bachelors in Science and trying for a state or federal Investigation Agency or getting a health care degree such as Physical Therapy Assistant or Registered Nurse. My AS could help me along to any of these career fields. Also thanks for the Advice, i really think this is something I' m going to do!
