The Arrow of Gold by Joseph Conrad

I picked it up off my grandpas shelf and started reading without knowing anything about it. I would say it is a hard read for me (a junior in high school) but rather interesting. Though as I get through it I am starting to realize it isn't about the events that are happening. It is about the relationships and politics behind the events that aren't even described. It is a real page turner for how little actually occurs in the book. It carries some interesting themes and repetition that I am not sure what they mean. I am definitely going to read opinions and analysis on the book after I finish it.
