I quite like this idea. As far as what code would need to be written, that's up to the smart folk. I don't know if it would stifle creativity of tags. Usually you have a tag in mind before you even start typing. It's just, like thenewgreen said, recipe or recipes. goodlongread or longgoodread? At this point, if you come up with a creative tag, you do so in your head before you type. And typing in "crazyawesomeread" only to have a dropdown reading "crazybitch" isn't going to change that. I don't think.
