Why would a young, healthy woman with normal coronary arteries suffer a major heart attack?
Playing devils advocate here, but could it be that there is more to her biological history that we don't know about? Physiology is a pretty complex thing, right? Can we draw such a straight line to her contraception medication?

Hey, I'm all for guys being able to take "the pill" too, but it seems that female contraception is pretty safe for the most part.

Female contraception does seem pretty safe, but for me, it's better to have as much control over that part as possible, especially with the current child-support structure in place. Also, any steps toward an alternative to condoms are positive steps.
