Hey, While I agree that it would be nice to have C4SS join in any conversations, I invited them here to post their content because I enjoy it. I now follow C4SS as well as c4ss.org, just in case.

If NPR had an account on Hubski and posted here, I would also follow them. I dig their content. I wouldn't insist that NPR comment on their content. Especially given that, like C4SS, different authors produce that content and the person submitting may not be familiar with the writing.

Personally, I don't care if C4SS has 1000 posts to zero comments, I'm still going to follow them. I like reading their articles and getting their posts in my feed.

All that said, I agree 100% that comments are the strength here, but nothing is stopping us from commenting on their posts. Just thought I'd let you know that I reached out to them and I would be glad for others to reach out to publications that they enjoy.

Also, per your comment below, I went back to the David Brooks article and I also couldn't find any reference to statues, but it was in reference to a column he wrote last year. I'll dig around for the column.
