C4SS, you have about nine posts to zero comments. Hubski's strength is in its comments - I feel that I can speak for everyone here that we welcome you to the discussion! EDIT: Oh well, worth a try. I'm finding C4SS's posts to be really thoughtful and good reads, I just value a good discussion.
Hey, While I agree that it would be nice to have C4SS join in any conversations, I invited them here to post their content because I enjoy it. I now follow C4SS as well as c4ss.org, just in case. If NPR had an account on Hubski and posted here, I would also follow them. I dig their content. I wouldn't insist that NPR comment on their content. Especially given that, like C4SS, different authors produce that content and the person submitting may not be familiar with the writing. Personally, I don't care if C4SS has 1000 posts to zero comments, I'm still going to follow them. I like reading their articles and getting their posts in my feed. All that said, I agree 100% that comments are the strength here, but nothing is stopping us from commenting on their posts. Just thought I'd let you know that I reached out to them and I would be glad for others to reach out to publications that they enjoy. Also, per your comment below, I went back to the David Brooks article and I also couldn't find any reference to statues, but it was in reference to a column he wrote last year. I'll dig around for the column. Cheers! EDIT: Here is the David Brooks Statues of the Elite NYT Article
"C4SS" doesn't submit content to reddit, but it will respond to questions on twitter. At the moment C4SS on hubski is one volunteer trying to keep 9 or 10 plates spinning. I am happy to chat and comment, when I can, but hopefully the articles speak for them selves. So far the hubski community has been great and thoughtful - a home away from home.
