Normally I'll post a record my daughter picks out of the old collection, but this week she was out of town so I selected on my own. It was record store day on Saturday and I picked up two great albums:
Radiohead's The Bends, you can listen to the full album here.
As well as Pavement's Brighten the Corners, you can listen to it all here I ran in a 10 mile race on Saturday and I listened to a bunch of music while on the trail. I started off with Gymnopedie 1 by Erik Satie as introduced to me by Owl in this legendary Hubski post which introduced me to what classical music can be. I continued the run listening to Wilco a Ghost is Born and then stuck with Wilco Radio on Spotify for the rest of the run. Later, after the run I came home and recorded a childrens song, then I listened to some Big Star and followed that with some Sufjan Stevens and some Cypress Hill and finished with some Led Zeppelin. I was all over the place.
I'm gonna listen to every song on that list of Owl's in the next couple of days. Hopefully.Radiohead's The Bends, you can listen to the full album here. As well as Pavement's Brighten the Corners, you can listen to it all here
As if I don't have them both :p
