What an amazing "murmuration". Thank you for sharing this awesome video and for the new word. I've watched it twice and both times found myself wishing there was no music, not because it's unpleasant music but because I'd prefer to hear the actual sounds only.
When they gather and get dense they look as though they are about to take form in some collective entity. Such a striking image of the individuals collecting becoming a powerful one. I think it's this metaphor that moves me. Just knowing that this many individuals can act collectively is both encouraging and terrifying.

it instantly became the most "overrated" murmuration video ever. Nice.
I'd love to see what that looks like from the perspective of one of the birds. I wonder how much contact they have with each other. It seems that there should be collisions. It looks like schooling fish, but fish can't fall.
I have this bad feeling that future military weapons are going to look like a very unfriendly version of this.
