I had made a post asking for ideas/topics for the next Hubski podcast but was already working on this one at the time. Now that this one is complete, it's time to pick a new topic and some Hubskiers to participate. Since we have a number of new users on the site, I thought that the next podcast should be one that gives insight in to the users and not necessarily in to a topic. That said, I love all of the ideas and will plan on tackling most of them moving forward. Thank you.

StephenBuckley suggested the idea of doing a podcast on evolution and I have some ideas on how to tackle that large topic. -Thanks Stephen with a ph. (I'm a "v")

joelg236 suggested "the internet", which is a very broad topic but one that we all participate in. -Could be a good one.

harryjames mentioned "gaming", which is something I am not that familiar with which is all the more reason to do it. Lot's of gamers on Hubski, time I learned about it more. Plus bgood79 would probably dig it.

Cortez suggested making it more of a discussion about the topics currently circulating around Hubski. -Good idea. It you find a specific trend, let me know.

steve inadvertently mentioned "fun" and hiss seconded it and volunteered to contribute. -Holding you to that hiss.

thefoundation suggested "The wonders of chocolate milk. College experiences/choosing a major. Favorite music/why. Natures effect on the psyche. Computers effect on the psyche. Something about monkeys for theadvancedapes". -A few gems there and thefoundation also offered to participate as did Saydrah. -Hope you two are still interested.

sounds_sound suggested the topic be "your first family computer". -Could be an interesting discourse about how the role of the computer has changed within the family dynamic.

Captain_Ozone also volunteered to participate and suggested "Sports, Animals, Architecture, Computers, The Brain" as potential topics. -All great choices and ones that I plan on tackling. -especially architecture.

The next topic, as I mentioned above will be one that is broad but that can give us some insight in to our fellow Hubskiers. The next topic, as suggested by steve and hiss is FUN. What do you do for fun?

Have an interesting answer? Want to participate? PM me.

Thanks all!

Well, for HarryJame's idea, I have some people I can talk to and see if they would be willing to let you interview them for the podcast.

I love all of those suggestions - great work, people! Other suggestions:

1. Your Favorite Song 2. Silence 3. Time and her divisions - how much time do you spend online? in nature? with friends/family/pets? What is the nature of time?

1. Your favorite song could be a really fun one so long as people could recount some sort of connection beyond the music. Or if they could describe why it is they love the song.

2. silence -this would be a really fun one to make from a production standpoint. I like this idea quite a bit.

3. Where do you spend your time? -This one scares me. I'd sort of rather not know :) -Which of course means its a good topic. Thanks littlebirdie.

Yeah, I love the silence idea, too. I've been thinking about it! If you decide to do that one, I would love to offer some of my ideas.

I second what thefoundation suggested about chocolate milk and college majors. Also, I think an interesting topic would be something you love other than a person.

something you love other than a person.
-Thanks for the suggestion B_C

Topics are just flowing now. How about: what was your happiest moment?

BLOB_CASTLE  ·  4117 days ago  ·  link  ·

Or similarly, something that gives you chills.

For me it's that beautiful part of Jupiter, or when someone speaks with such sincerity and passion.

hiss  ·  4117 days ago  ·  link  ·

FUN. I'm in, just let me know what you need from me.

thenewgreen  ·  4117 days ago  ·  link  ·

Will do hiss, thanks.

On a side note, I feel bad that I've monopolized this discussion with talks of the next podcast. Have there been any changes in your life that stand out?

Plenty, as I'm sure is true for everyone. You could likely do 52 weeks just on this topic. Once the workweek begins anew I'll have some time to listen and respond.
