Disagree. I think the original mix of "Aphrodisiac" is objectively terrible. But your point about how the vocals aren't up front enough in the Callum mix is taken. Yeah that polished Bee Gees mix is amazing. A mix can really go to shit when too many people get involved, on top of deadlines. I think the best way to work is alone, spread over a long span of time. Just go touch on your mix for a few minutes as often as you can. I do the same thing with composition, sometimes both at once. Currently in a phase of re-callusing my fretting (ha) hand.
