The two teams I’m paying attention to in The Playoffs are The Guardians and The Mariners, cause if the teams I was watching during the regular season didn’t make it, might as well root for the underdogs.
The Guardians, won their series against The Rays today after 14 scoreless innings, with a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 15th.
The Mariners?! THE MARINERS?! They just overcame a 1-9 deficit against The Bluejays to win 10-9!!!
I. Fucking. LOVE BASEBALL.
God I love the Mariners. Such a fun team to watch this year. Tonight I found out that there’s a documentary about Nolan Ryan on Netflix. Have you seen it? Highly, highly recommend if you haven’t!
I haven’t seen it. I’ll have to check it out though. I might have to get a Netflix subscription again, if even for only a couple of months. They have some other shows I’m slightly interested in. Growing up, I had a baseball card or two of Ryan’s, despite never seeing him play. Of course, even as a kid, I knew who he was and that he was something special. Like Michael Jordan or Mike Tyson, he was a household name.
