Currently sitting in the "going away Zoom call" with my beloved boss. Lots of fun conversation. Lots of people I haven't seen since February 2020.

My role has been moved from Sales over to the Customer Support side of the business, which I'm really happy with. My new boss - and his boss - are both people I respect highly, and have enjoyed working with for several years. So that's good... but I'm still actively looking for another job... or maybe a couple of part-time jobs.

Went to the doctor today for my knee: Sadly, there's nothing obviously wrong with it. So I've got an anti-inflammatory and physical therapy. Did a full set of knee x-rays (both sides). Also got a flu shot, dTap update, and a full set of blood work, since this is a new doctor and new health plan, I figured we'd get a baseline to work from.

Kind of 50/50... half relieved that there is not something major wrong with my knee, and half panicked that I'll never have a full night of uninterrupted sleep again, due to knee pain.

But I'm going to a 5-star resort in Sedona, AZ at the end of the month. So there is that. Maybe I'll spend the entire time getting massages on my knees and back!

Love Sedona. My wife and I try to go every year, though not since covid. You'll have an awesome time, although I hate to think of your knee preventing you from doing any hiking.

I'll do some light hiking, definitely. But probably more fishing and possibly horse riding... I'd like to see some of those southwestern trails from the back of a horse...
