I've been a Jason Miller connoisseur ever since his hopes of becoming WH press secretary were dashed by knocking up AJ Delgado against her will and, upon pointing out the deliciousness of this to my wife, heard her say "oh, him? He was my junior class president. Nobody liked him."

If Stephen Miller is Malfoy, Jason Miller aspires to being Crabbe.

In the comments hosted on the Intelligencer page for this post [NSFW], someone commented something like, "The part that definitively revealed this as a farce, for me, was: "

Jason Miller, at home in Arlington, was lying stupefied in bed with his wife, watching the video loops of the day over and over again and hoping there was a plan.

And now I get the joke.

The Wolff book excerpt article should be titled "Trump & Co. Float Strategies for Sweeping All This Under the Rug Early". Byline: And Jason Miller seems pretty neato, right guys? This is Michael Wolff, B.T.W.

Neither of the Trump era Millers seem to have any skills outside of creative cruelty. But please, Malfoy is a generous comparison for Stephen; Draco found his conscience long before age 33. Jason is appropriately dumb, though, a sub-Crabbe level.

The thing so obviously being selected for in these, uh, "best" people is undying loyalty. Say exactly one thing even slightly critical of Trump and it gets out on good authority? You're either fired, primaried, name-called, or some combination of those. LOL Rudy can't get paid by Trump for his post-election treasons, and the only thing he did was fail to upend just about all of our entire system of voting.

I didn't think it was ever in doubt that Team Trump had no expectation of winning. It was and is peopled by the ne'er do-wells and hangers-on who have no place in normal politics. So you are either:

- utterly incapable of recognizing the dire lack of advancement within a renegade whirlwind of sycophancy or

- utterly incapable of caring that your advancement is inextricably tied to a renegade whirlwind of sycophancy.

It's Briscoe Cains all the way down.
