In 2004 between 12-13% of people in jail or in prison were there because of Marijuana related charges. About 55% of Federal prisoners were there for drug related offenses. That's insane. As someone that doesn't like frivolous tax expenditures, I'd think you would have some sort of position on the legalization of drugs. ?
I like the way you say this. I've always disliked that we live in a society that puts pressure on people to think something (and, unfortunately, say what they think, too). Some areas are so gray that we can read and reflect for years and never come to a final opinion or belief. Not all opinions are created equal, and often, those of us who are the most educated on an issue are the least vocal.I didn't say that I didn't have facts and opinions, I said I didn't have a position.
