I've never heard of this kid's website before, and I'm not surprised. It's far less useful than the other sites that I've been following this spring, like the The Atlantic's Covid Tracking Project, the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation's healthdata.org, and the Johns Hopkins map. I guess it's easy to become the "web's preeminent covid-19 case tracker" when you scrape worldwide data from other sources and present it in a slick Bootstrap interface. It's a cool portfolio piece for a clever teenager though.
