I agree that it sounds like bullshit, but obviously Trump has spent an inordinate amount of effort to conceal his tax and financial records, so even he thinks he can be damaged by information. I actually think he's wrong though. I think at this point his tax records could show beyond doubt that he laundered money for for the Russian mob and 0 of his followers would give a fuck.
