I like it. After season 1, I started reading the graphic novels, too - they are excellent (and young Carl is a lot more of a bad-ass in the books). It's good that the graphic novel plot line is different enough that I don't feel like I have seen any spoilers - although I am really looking forward to the 'Michonne' character, who is supposed to appear this season.
The graphic novels are good too. It's cool that the plot lines vary a bit. Do you think that they're realizing what works for different media and changing based on that, or maybe they just want to try and explore the potential for different plot lines? Michonne is a bad ass. You must be on Season 2?
I've seen about half of season 2, maybe a bit more. Just have not gotten around to seeing it all yet. I've read up to the 7th or maybe 8th hardcover graphic novel collection. Some of the plot threads are pretty similar between TV and the books, but the order of events, and quite a few details are different. One reason for a plot difference, in my opinion, is [spoiler] that they didn't want to kill off Shane's character as early as occurred in the graphic novel.
