Thank you for this. It was a good read and for the first time explains (to me at least) what the real difference is between them.

Now how possible is a sanders + Warren ticket?

Generally, running tickets tend to level out the presidential candidate. For example, Pence, Biden and Cheney all had much more experience then their running mates - Trump, Obama, G. W. Bush. Your running mate should somehow make the ticket more palatable by shoring up something the presidential candidate lacks. It is more likely that fellow candidates on the debate stage will get a cabinet position - if anything.

While I don’t see Sanders or Warren going out of their way to be palatable to the opposition, they will find some nice middle ground. If not, doubling down does not look like those two running together. I’m willing to be wrong, wouldn’t bet on it, though.
