It's interesting how the randomness seems to randomly intrude into the left half of Wolfram's “Rule 30” pyramid result above, in black and white (edit: you might need to open the pic in a separate tab/window or zoom in on mobile). Said differently: My brain wants to draw a line where the patterns transition from coherent to random, and it looks like a complex/random line. On the opposite side of the coin, veen's pic is symmetric across a vertical line in the center. More aesthetic, better album cover, but less mathematically intriguing than nested randomness. Edit 2: I forgive veen of this atrocious crime and look forward to further Dutch offensives
